All fruit for this Reserve Chardonnay was hand harvested and underwent whole-cluster-pressing to maximize freshness and fruit purity. After the juice was cold settled it was inoculated with cultured yeast strains that accentuate the chardonnay variety’s brightness of fruit. One hundred percent of the juice fermented in French oak barrels (100% new). After fermentation this reserve wine was put through a secondary, malolactic fermentation to enhance its texture and foster a rich, creamy mouthfeel. The Chardonnay Reserve aged in barrel on its primary yeast lees for 5 months, with weekly stirring of the lees. This regimen enhanced the wine’s aromatic complexity, round, creamy texture and fresh, lush flavors. After maturing 5 additional months in it French oak barrels it was gently racked, filtered and bottled in Sept 2015.

Bright and creamy with aromas of sweet golden apple, white peach, biscotti and toasted oak. Full-bodied and mouthfilling on the palate, with luscious concentrated apple, pear and melon flavours. Enjoy this wine now or cellar up to 2025.
